The actress was featured in two episodes on Showtime's Weeds alongside Mary Louise Parker. Her appearances include Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 program Point Pleasant, and Marcy as the character of Dawson's Creek. She also played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light, a role which earned her a 2003 Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar was a part of the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 and 2008. The actress was on in the 2011 NBC pilot Happy Valley but it was not aired.
